Get your shields ready, the badass is back in early 2027
The stellar anti-Mega Man hero Proto Man is back in the series. Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, Proto Man will arrive in the game sporting a bunch of attacks and abilities that are powerful in close range. The game focuses on the same robot-power-earning action we’ve come to love from the series but now it also includes a new Custom Chip system that lets players collect chips and customize their Mega or Proto to new levels.
Oh, and Capcom and Nintendo also announced amiibo for the two characters will launch alongside the game! Sweet! I love me some Mega Man amiibo!
Mega Man Dual Override lands on PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox Series, Switch, Switch 2 and PC in Spring 2027.
