Damn, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is looking GOOD

We now have a release date, and confirmation of DLC!

Closing out today’s PlayStation State of Play, Square Enix took to the skies to drop glorious new Final Fantasy VII Revelation trailers to us. Now, I know what you’re thinking: I’ve seen enough already, I don’t want to see more, I just want this game.

Here me out! The first trailer gives us the thing we’ve been waiting for: a release date. The game will arrive on April 04, 2027 on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2. You can watch this fun video and then stop for 8 months.

Buuuuut if you want more, they sure as heck delivered more. A full gameplay video was revealed, showing new modes, new and returning characters, and Queen’s Blood. And confirmation that two DLCs for Sephiroth and Vincent are on the way as well!

WOO!

Okay Dali, is this cool? Yes, it’s very cool. It’s even more cool knowing that if you’ve somehow missed out on all of the FFVII mayhem then you can purchase all three games in a special Trilogy Pack when it launches in April, or go full-on for the massive (and expensive) collector’s edition. Got $350 spare?
