Two of Japan’s biggest game companies have a lot to show us in the coming days
Hot off of the news of Sony’s upcoming PlayStation State of Plays comes the news that both Konami and Capcom are bringing their own presentations to our screens.
Konami is hosting PRESS START to show off some of the games they have coming this year and next, including the next Castlevania and Silent Hill installments.
“KONAMI PRESS START” is a showcase featuring the latest news and updates from KONAMI games.
This edition will highlight upcoming titles including Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, coming on October 15, and SILENT HILL: Townfall, arriving on September 24, alongside brand-new gameplay footage and video messages from the development teams.
Also, Exclusive footage will be revealed during the broadcast.
The “exclusive footage” note should indicate that whatever is shown at the State of Play earlier will be followed with more information here.
It’ll take place on Konami’s YouTube channel at 8AM PT on September 3rd.
About two weeks later Capcom will help kick off Tokyo Game Show with their own showcase. More news on Dragon’s Dogma 2, Resident Evil Veronica and Mega Man Dual Override is expected.
Tokyo Game Show 2026 kicks off with a 40-minute Capcom Spotlight presentation on September 16, 7am PT, 3pm BST! Stay tuned for more details to come.
