It’s a night of epic drip, killer beats, and iconic avatar throwdowns.

Info: Join Playtest Thursday to play work-in-progress games, share feedback, and advance NYC’s game design community. Players, designers, and enthusiasts of all experience levels are welcome to play or bring prototypes and early-stage ideas. Test games by students, faculty, and local developers while discussing how to push mechanics and refine designs. Games tested here have gone on to IndieCade, the IGF, and Come Out & Play-come test your work alongside New York’s best talent.

Midgar Messengers (band) and special guest @initialspeed.cos (professional cosplayer) brings to you an unofficial New York Comic Con After-Party featuring Final Fantasy jazz music and an epic cosplay showcase! The six-piece jazz ensemble, Midgar Messengers, has opened for Button Masher and performs a monthly Final Fantasy jazz night in Bushwick for a captivated audience. Special guest @initialspeed.cos organizes all the major Final Fantasy & Square Enix cosplay meetups worldwide. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in related cosplay.
